The significant advantage of Fe-Cr-Co magnets is the low-cost shaping possibilities. This is an advantage that other permanent magnets cannot compare with. FeCrCo alloys can be easily hot deformed and machined. There are practically no limitations of their shapes and sizes. They can be made to tiny and complicated shape components such as block, bar, tube, strip, wire, etc. Their minimum diameter can reach 0.05mm and the thinnest thickness can reach 0.1mm, so they are suitable for the production of high-precision components. The high Curie temperature is about 680°C and the highest working temperature can be high to 400°C.
